Misc. thoughts

I am trying to be productive today, but I am waiting to hear back about some assessments I need to schedule, etc. Here is a round up of some recent random thoughts.
1. Disneyland is sort of a freaky place. The normal people there are the visiting foreign tourists, parents and kids, and guardians. The park employees tend to be on the weird side. The most normal park employees are the ones dressed up as characters, but maybe they did not scare me since I could not speak with them and assess their freakishness. The rides were not as scary as the people who were marching in the parade. They were just happy in a rather eerie way. I would have to say it was like an episode of the Twilight Zone. The guy who was dressed like Peter Pan also looked just like Clay Aiken, which reduced Sue, Jon, and I to tears! The other weird thing about Disney was the amount of tourists who had rented Jazzy scooters to get around the park. I am a PT, so I am familiar with people who need power wheelchairs to get around. I worked with people who could walk short distances but need power mobility for longer walks due to various chronic conditions. It just appeared the scooters were considered an alternate form of transport around the park.

2. Our social life is usually pretty quiet, but it always picks up all at the same time. We were invited out on Thurs, Fri, and Sat this weekend. When it rains it pours I suppose. We are to blame for our lame social life. We always blame it on our housing situation, and I have the grand illusion that buying a house will allow us to become social butterflies! By the time we finish work, eat, and exercise, the day is over. It would be nice to be able to freely talk to our neighbors too.

3. Should I lie around the house eating and being lazy, or should I drag my fat ass out and swim?

4. Do I get charged internationally when my client's family calls me on my cell phone? I am afraid to look it up since I talked 6 minutes to Pakistan yesterday.

5. We are expecting a big Noreaster on Sunday night. I think it is a good time to drive around and see which areas and neighborhoods are flooded before we buy a house.

I vote lie around and be lazy so I won't feel too bad since I am doing exactly that right now. Next, don't check your phone bill there's nothing you can do about it anymore anyway since u already made the call - Tee Hee! For your peace of mind, sprint charges about $1.99/min. Vonage $0.27/min to Pakistan.

I went swimming, and does it matter that I recieved the call rather than make it?

You won't be charged for incoming...I overlooked that. On their end though it will cost them a bit more since they also pay roaming charges.
