Bodysnatchers

Of course I am fighting a cold as we speak, 'tis the season.
Thanksgiving was a fun time. We got out to Detroit and made some rounds. I felt as if I gained a ton of weight from the eating and sitting, and my suspicions were confirmed at my doctor's appointment yesterday. I had my record one month weight gain of 10 friggin' pounds! I can not blame it on swollen ankles. Here's to doctor's appointments following lazy and long holidays eh? At least my blood pressure and sugars were normal. When we watch NCAA football, Mike likes to comment when he is the same height and weight of the Div 1 players. Soon I will be joining him. He still has a few pounds on me. So it is time to get disciplined again. My stomach has expanded quite a bit as of late, but Mike pointed out that I have a long way to go. I can easily see my toes after all. It is just amazing that your body can morph so quickly into something else without splitting your skin and incredible pain. The wonders of nature.

I went to my work party on Thurs night (probably also did not help my weigh in). I am rethinking my delusion of working until March 30 after talking to my other therapist friends. Although I do like to support my delusions (they are delusions after all).

I am not going to deliver at the five-star hospital. The info I got from my doctor originally said she was affiliated with Greenwich, but she is not anymore. I know people who said they liked White Plains, so there I go. I really like the doctors in the practice I go to now, and that is the most important. So no candlelight dinner the night before with the surf n' turf. It is just as well since I am sure I will not be able (or in the mood) to eat anyways. It also lessens the chance of pooping on the table.

So sorry about the lack of posts, and I think I need to make some soup now!
