My friend Kato was just telling me about his hike on Whitney. He got the urge halfway down (should have used the outhouse I guess) and there were basically no trees to hide behind at all. He looked for quite a while before hiding behind a small rocky outcropping that shielded him from the trail (but open to the whole world below).
I guess the point of the story being, using one of those bags up there will be a privacy nightmare!

I am not sure if I am coordinated enough to pull off the maneuver. I have peed standing up on skis before, but number 2 needs more security.
I don't think you aim for the hole in the bag. I think you pick it up after.
