Talkin' bout my generation...
So we were at the beach the other day, and sitting on the bench people watching. There were all of the stereotypical muscle dudes with a ton of tattoos hanging out down on the beach. Then this observation came out of Mike's mouth, "When do a pair of shorts turn into Coolots?" I have not heard anyone utter "coolots" since about 1980, but he was right. Their shorts were more of the capri length.

But culotte's are a skirt/short, not what a muscle dude would wear, unless you're talking about something else
I never even heard of a culotte! I guess I am less fashion savvy than euroMike. Or at least, I was 30 years ago!

That is why Mike was sayin' that. Their shorts were so huge that they would have qualified as Coolots!
