We are discovering that renting this house will help us know what to look for even more when shopping. I know I want carpets in the bedrooms now. We know what to look out for in an older house now. We have had issues with finding 3 prong outlets, etc Live and learn.

Nope, I go the other way... My allergies are way less with a severe lack of carpeting.

I STILL think bare floors are better than "velveteen" carpet with disintegrated pad beneath ~
There are SO many Cuuuute Rugs to buy too; Never a foot on the wood, for you, just say the word...
