Normally we have nothing going on. The social life out here is really tough, and many of our closest friends out here have moved away (or do not live nearby). Most weekends we putter around and try to figure out plans. What always seems to happen is that everyone comes to town or suddenly wants to do something all the same weekend. This was one of them. Sat night we met with friends from Jersey.
Yesterday seemed to be the day when we packed it all in. We got up at 6, went to ride a bike tour with our friend who now lives in Ohio and our other friend that we do not see much. We rode the tour (beat the rain too!), drove to friend's hotel to say Hi to wife and kids, went home and showered, drove to city, dropped off friend (in pouring rain), got a good parking space, and met up with Jon. We arrived back home at 11:30. So that was about 3 days of activity in one! It was all good, now it is time to get back to mundane life!
