Moss Makes a No-Care Lawn - New York Times
Mike is always talking about having a alternate lawn, so it was funny to see this here.

I wanted to suggest the same thing to P however I need some data to prove that moss is not that bad. Now, I have an article to show him for a start. I love moss, it reminds me of the rain forest and they thrive here in Oregon...so why not grow them?

This is happening to us by accident. I think that Seamus is bringing back spores on his paws from up north. We are getting moss in the back yard. Ann is in favor of letting it take over. She says "well at least it is green, unlike the rest of the lawn!"

Yeah, my only problem with moss is that under it is usually some nasty mold and then my alergies go nuts.
