Drain

There was this guy in line at Target tonight with a tattoo down his forearm that said "Drain" in old english letters. I wonder what the hell it means. Is is his band? Or perhaps his last name? I can not imagine feeling so strongly about the word drain that you would want it permanently on your arm.
