My old suitemate Eric B at MSU used to surf Lake MI. I should see if he still does. He was a funny guy - the first person I ever knew who owned a snowboard back in '90. Apparently his brother (unconfirmed) used to snowboard professionally back then
Up in the TC area, they do a lot of the kiteboarding with a chute and snowboard type thing. Looks like a wicked amount of fun and I think I'll work out to try and learn. Some folks apparently also do it on the snow A
we saw some guys kite boarding in the cape, it looked like a blast. I just read about it, and the biggest danger is going into flight on the beach somewhere.

You want Kiteboarding, you oughta come here! Hood River is supposed to be a kite boarding mecca :)
