Cheap Bastard

Is is me, or is it just crazy that so many people are willing to pay $100 dollars or more to sit all crammed in the "Big House." I guess I am a cheap bastard, but it is really out of control. I swear it will cost almost as much as our flights were to get in the game. I am going to try the people out scalping after their greediness does not pay off, or will be in some Ann Arbor watering hole catching the game.

Sad to say, but unless you are looking at student tickets, $100 is not that far over face value.

Scalper prices often plummet after kickoff. If you hang outside after the game starts you might do OK.

But you did pick one of the hardest games of the year to try to get into!

I agree with Kevin. I went to a UM vs Golden Gopher game and we waited 'till 5 min before kickoff. My friend actually said "You know, those tickets aren't going to be worth $hite in about 5 minutes" so the guy gave them to us for face value. They turned out to be as good a pair of seats as he advertised. We felt bad... for about 3 seconds.

BTW Could you believe the last game I went to was the UM vs. MSU game in the Big House AND I drove from Minneapolis - Ann Arbor - Minneapolis leaving on a Friday and returning that Sunday just to go to the game ($100 in gas alone).
