This morning

Katie is starting to sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" by herself, and it is cute (got a picture of it!). She is loving pushing her stroller base around, and it is only a matter of time until her first steps. She is so proud of herself walking around and pushing the stroller!

Breaking Bad

A+K
Did you watch it last night? Mike has a prediction for the season, but I will not post it in case you are waiting to watch the latest. Those new brothers are so spooky.

She looks like a picture of sunshine eh? But it is now time for tough love and finally teaching her to sleep on her own. Party time! I am running on empty.

Easter and Playtime!

Kuni has mastered getting into and emptying her entire toybox. It is her new past-time. We had a quiet, but pleasant Easter weekend with agreeable weather.

Scary

Kuni has been playing with the TV remote for months. One of the buttons lights up when she pushes it, and she used to love to gnaw on it. Her new method of playing with it now is to push a button, lift it in the air, and point it at the TV. Holy Crap, time to throw out the TV!

Specially Equipped

I treat in a hotel pool, and it was really crowded on Monday since there were about 100,000 without power just in Westchester county alone. What is there to do when school is out and you are staying in a hotel with your family? You guessed it, you descend on the pool. I keep all my pool toys in a crate, and I minimized what I normally carry in there. I still does not stop kids and adults alike from ransacking my stuff. I have to keep getting it all back. If there is a couple of kids in there when I am treating, I usually share my toys. I just do not share when there is like 20 kids, otherwise my crate will end up empty. As I got my stuff back from this one group of kids, I told this boy nicely that it was "my equipment". Later as I retrieved an item out of my crate, the same boy said "excuse me, a rubber ducky is not equipment".
